Rachele Sotgiu – Spazio E_EMME – Cagliari
Il 22 gennaio 2020 lo Spazio E_EMME ospita, a partire dalle ore 18:00, FAKE SURFACE prima mostra personale a Cagliari dell’artista Rachele Sotgiu.
Il progetto, ideato e realizzato nell’arco degli ultimi 3 anni, comprende 19 tele ad olio e due installazioni in ceramica.
Tema prediletto, spesso indagato dall’artista, è la casa, i manufatti e gesti quotidiani.
Le sue opere sono assemblaggi di oggetti – reali, rappresentati o riprodotti – ricchi di simbologie che si confondono e ripetono senza essere svelati allo spettatore.
Silenzio e solitudine ne sono elementi essenziali.
Dopo gli studi a Milano e Torino, ha vissuto e lavorato a Bruxelles.
Recentemente si è trasferita a Nuoro dove vive e lavora.

On January 22, 2020 the E_EMME space hosts, starting from 18:00, FAKE SURFACE the first solo exhibition in Cagliari by the artist Rachele Sotgiu.
The project, conceived and implemented over the past 3 years, includes 19 oil paintings and two ceramic installations.
Favorite theme, often investigated by the artist, is the home, objects and daily gestures.
Her works are assemblages of objects – real, represented or reproduced – full of symbols that blend and repeat without being revealed to the viewer.
Silence and solitude are essential elements.
After studying in Milan and Turin, he lived and worked in Brussels.
Recently she moved to Nuoro where she lives and works.
